Xipe Totec (shee-pey toh-tek), the Aztec flayed god of life, death, and rebirth, symbolizes the Earth’s renewal of the seasons as life sheds its dead “skin”, and spring vegetation sprouts from seed. This unique, old-world inspired flavor brings together dried chilis, sweet plums, and earthy spices in a mild but richly flavored sauce. Use it to enhance grilled meats and vegetables, roasted and baked potatoes, chili, BBQ dishes, and fried eggs. 1/10 heat.

Salsa was amazing! I am definitely planning on buying more in the future. My only complaint is that the size of the container is on the smaller side but otherwise its the highest quality salsa that I have ever had.
I've never tasted a hot sauce quite like this before, but that's what I love about it.
I think it could be ever-so-slightly hotter, but the flavor is incredible. It's semi-sweet, semi-spicy, and quite "earthy" if that makes any sense. In my opinion, when compared to other hot sauces where the burn is more important, Totec's Tears is way more fun to experiment with.
I can attest that this stuff really brings nachos, quesadillas, and BBQ baked beans to life. I'm definitely gonna buy another jar once my current one runs out!
I know this sauce is not supposed to blow me away on the Scoville scale, but with all of the “spicy” ingredients it should have had a more savory taste instead the sweet overwhelmed the taste. Great concept, meh execution.

Toltec's Tears is a very flavorful sauce. It has a balance of the red chili's flavor and the fruity, sweetness of the plums with just the right amount of spicy tingle across the tongue and mouth. I look forward to experimenting with it in my cooking.
