Start your day right with these hearty and delicious breakfast tacos. This has everything you need to get moving in a flavorful package, complete with eggs, beans, cheese, and a hashbrown patty. Plus a little hot sauce, of course!

Fried Egg Tacos

Ingredients

  • 2 corn or flour tortillas

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 hash brown patty

  • 1 can refried beans

  • ½ cup shredded cheese

  • ¼ cup Totec’s Tears or Cinco (or Totec’s Teeth/Pata del Diablo if you want extra hot!)

Directions

  1. Open a can of refried beans and heat them up. Season to taste, I like to use some smoked salt and black pepper.

  2. Separately, heat a non-stick pan on med-high heat and add a drizzle of cooking oil.

  3. Fry up a hash brown patty until crispy on both sides, set aside.

  4. Add another drizzle of oil, begin frying your tortilla of choice until lightly crisped on one side.

  5. Flip over and sprinkle cheese on the toasted tortilla while the other side crisps up.

  6. Top with refried beans and half of a hash brown patty, set aside.

  7.  Add another drizzle of oil and fry the egg to your liking, I prefer over-medium for this dish.

  8. When the egg is done, lay on top and drizzle with your favorite Harmacy hot sauce and a sprinkle of cilantro.

  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
